The grease pan and spatulas can go in the dishwasher. The suggested times in the booklet worked for me.
First of all, I was suprised by how big it is. I read the dimensions on the site, and they probably are right but it is bigger than I envisioned.
I received my George Foreman in the mail two days ago and used it for the first time last night. The food tasted good.
So it is a nice size and you can grill many things at once. I have cooked hamburgers and corn on the cob on mine so far.
It was nice to see all the grease, that would've normally stayed in my food, in the grease pan. I also have George Foreman sponges specifically for cleaning the grill and they worked and cleanup was quick.
This George Forman Grill is better than the orginal one I had for the past 8 years. It finally went so I needed another.read the reviews and chose this one.it's easy to clean.I love the handle.no burning yourself.another great product for the price.
Cooks in half the time.what a simple concept that works. It even cooks hotdogs great. I must note it doesn't have a temp control and it is NOT needed. It cooks steaks, burgers and chops perfectly. I have found that turning the items half way through the process makes for a more even cooking. It cleans up easy.I turn it on (plug it in) for about 30 seconds before wiping with a paper towel and it wipes clean and easy.[.]. WORTH EVERY PENNY.
I bought this to replace a George Foreman grill that I have used almost daily for ten or more years. The lid is more flimsy and does not have the weight needed to press out fat like the original George Foreman grills could. This new version has gone the way of most other products in this economy.Cheaper parts and materials. This grill is very lightweight and appears to be made of a plastic type material. Yes, it may do a somewhat acceptable job for now, but I doubt that it's useful life will meet the standard set by the first Foremans on the market. I'm disappointed that such a good product has resorted to lowering the quality of construction.
Works like it should. Haven't used it much but it does make a juicy chicken. Just remember to season thoroughly or you'll have a juicy, extra bland chicken. :-)
